OPIOID LAWSUIT

  • A local attorney joins a class action lawsuit on behalf of Crawford County.  The suit names a number of different opioid manufacturers and distributors.  Crawford County and many other counties across the nation are filing the lawsuit for what it cites as damages done to residents and the counties themselves.

GUILTY PLEA

  • 16 year old Koalten Glenn Orr pled guilty to first degree murder Friday.  He was charged and convicted as an adult in the shooting death of his father's fiance, 38-year old Laura Hendrix.
    Orr was just 14 when the shooting occurred in august of 2016 at the family home in Vinita.

INDONESIA CHURCH ATTACK

  • Authorities in Indonesia say three churches were attacked by a family of six suicide bombers.  The father, mother, two teenage sons and two daughters who were just nine and twelve years old.  At least seven people were also killed in the coordinated attacks.

HAWAII VOLCANO LATEST

  • A number of new fissures spawning lava have opened, stemming from the Kilauea volcano on the island of Hawaii.  Residents are also worried about a possible steam eruption that could be strong enough to send ash for miles.  The national park around the crater is closed indefinitely.
