Seneca School District Appoints New Superintendent

The Seneca R-7 School District has announced the name of their new superintendent to replace Dr. Jim Cummins who has taken over at the Neosho R-5 School District.

The district has appointed current Joplin High School Principal Dr. Brandon Eggleston as the district's new superintendent.

Dr. Eggleston has 18 years of experience in the education field.

Dr. Eggleston received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Missouri Southern State University in 1999.  He later received a Master of Arts Degree from William Woods University in 2004, his Specialist Degree in ED Leadership from Missouri State University in 2010, and his Doctorate in Education Degree from Lindenwood University in 2014. 

“Dr. Eggleston’s educational philosophy, values and goals aligned very well with our district,” stated Rob Nesvold, Seneca Board President.  BOE President Nesvold also stated, “Dr. Eggleston is a man of character and integrity that we believe will continue to lead our district in a positive direction.”
