Pittsburg Man Behind Bars For Allegedly Raping Young Relatives

A Pittsburg man is held without bond for allegedly raping two young females. 

According to the Pittsburg Police Department, their agency received a report over allegations of repeated child sex abuse. Two victims, ages 10 and 11, reported they were victimized several times while the 32-year-old relative was at the victims home. 

The suspect was arrested on May 23, 2018 on one count of rape and two counts of aggravated indecent liberties with a child.

What has been a roller coaster primary between Kansas Governor Jeff Colyer and Secretary of State Kris Kobach, Colyer announced today he is conceding defeat and is endorsing Kobach. Kobach will face the Democratic nominee Laura Kelly.  Governor Colyer was elevated from his position after former Kansas Governor Sam Brownback took an ambassador's position.
