A look at the tropics on this Tuesday June 5th has a bit of activity to keep an eye on. Over the waters of the Atlantic, Caribbean and the Gulf of Mexico, all is quiet. We, along with the National Hurricane Center, don't expect any tropical cyclone development over the next 5 days. Over in the Pacific, it's a little bit active. We have Tropical Depression Two-E south of Manzanillo, Mexico and it'll continue to drift off to the northwest over mainly open Pacific waters. Southeast of that depression, a tropical wave was working across Central America. With it expected to emerge over the Pacific waters with favorable conditions forecast to take place, that wave has a 60% chance to develop into a tropical system. We'll keep an eye on the Tropics over the next several days in addition to the rest of the season.
