Warm Lake Waters

Updated:

If you are a lake fan and have been down already this season, you will notice something very strange.  The water temperatures are already extremely warm.  Grand Lake was at 82 degree on Memorial weekend.  The average is 70 for late May.  Table rock is already at 83 degrees.  The average for this time of the year is about 72 degrees.  Why is this?  We had a record breaking warm May.  With water temperatures already approaching bath water temps, and the 90s sticking around, the lake temperatures will be very warm all summer long.
