Frontenac Homecoming Wraps Up Sunday

Updated:
FRONTENAC, KANSAS -

The Frontenac Homecoming entered its fourth and final day. Several kids came out to the city pool to participate in various pool games and take advantage of a public open swim. Over the weekend dozens of current and former Frontenac residents filled the streets to catch up with old friends and have a good time. Homecoming was originally started in 1986 on the town's 100th anniversary, but it stopped being an annual event in the 90s. Organizers have been slowly been restoring the tradition for the past three years. Frontenac hosts its homecoming every year, staring on the second week of June.
