KOAM and FOX 14 receive court documents with more details on a fatal shooting in Delaware County, Oklahoma.

On June 1st, 2018, authorities responded to a report of a man being shot at his home at 44767 S. 670 Rd. While on their way, detectives were told that the suspects had fled in a blue Ford single cab pickup truck. The suspects had been identified by family members as Waylon Russell and Willie Russell. The victim of the shooting, Dinh Hoang, died at the scene.

A short time later, authorities received a second report of a man being shot near the same location. The second shooting was at the home of Robbie Kirby, who told authorities he had been shot by Waylon Russell.

Authorities later found Willie Russell in a pasture lying down in the tall grass. According to court documents, he was highly intoxicated and had beer next to him. While authorities were taking Willie into custody, Waylon stood up from his place of concealment and was also arrested without incident.

The probable cause court document contains more details of the incident, including statements from the suspects and investigation details from the OSBI.

Waylon and Willie Russell are charged with first degree murder and drive by shooting.
