45th Annual Kansas Shrine Bowl - July 28

The Kansas Shrine Bowl will take place for the 45th time in 2018 at

Carnie Smith Stadium on the campus of Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kansas. The gates open at 5pm, pregame begins at 6pm and kickoff is at 7pm.

Each player selected has the opportunity to play in one of the most prominent all-star games in the nation and for a worthy cause. All players will be representing their high school, the Kansas Shrine Bowl and most importantly the Shriners Hospitals for Children and their patients. All proceeds from the game go to benefit the network of 22 hospitals.

    Authorities search for a vehicle involved in a high-speed chase through Lamar, Missouri. It happened on November 12th, 2018, around 7:40 a.m. The deputy first saw the vehicle near O Highway and 160 west of Lamar. The deputy then saw the vehicle travel east on 160 until it reached the substation by Barton County Electric where it then turned and went back west on 160 highway.
