Kobach Leads Colyer by fewer than 200 votes in the Republican race for Kansas Governor

Kansas unofficial primary results show Kris Kobach leading current Governor Jeff Colyer by fewer than 200 votes in the race for the Republican nomination for governor.  But it could be a few days before all absentee votes are counted.  A new state law allows ballots postmarked as of Tuesday to be counted, so long as they arrive within three days of election day.  Johnson County was the final county to report its precincts just before 8:00am.  There were five other Republican candidates on the ballots besides Kobach and Colyer.  Here is a link to the Unofficial Kansas Election Results.  If Kobach is certified as the winner, he will face the Democratic nominee, Laura Kelly in the November election.
