Pittsburg Armed Robbery, Suspects Wanted

Updated:

Pittsburg, Kansas Police search for suspects in an armed robbery.

On Monday, October 8th, 2018, authorities were called to an apartment at 206 West Hudson Street about an armed robbery. They found two occupants who claimed three males entered the apartment and said they were there to see one of the roommates. The two occupants allegedly told the suspects they didn't know who they were and they needed to leave.

Police say they were told one of the three males then pulled out a handgun. The two occupants say there was a struggle inside the apartment for the weapon and the three males then ran out the door. Authorities say an undisclosed amount of money was taken during the incident.

The Pittsburg Police Department says the incident is still being investigated. Anyone with information about the incident is urged to contact authorities at 620-231-1700, or at the PPD's tip line, 620-231-TIPS (8477).
